ACTION: Don Broco and their team’s fantastic marketing strategy wins 2019

With 2019’s most feature-stacked single “ACTION” lighting up their setlist, we’re watching Don Broco’s marketing strategy unfold into insane success on their first headlining U.S. tour with sold-out dates and huge crowds.

Don Broco has been hitting the U.S. hard on their current tour with Sleep On It, Trash Boat and Selfish Things while their team is blasting out marketing assets one after the other. Yeah yeah, most teams behind rock bands of Don Broco’s caliber have great marketing plans, but there is really something to be said about the band creating single “ACTION” that involves four of the pop/rock scene’s most current notable frontmen, Tilian Pearson (Dance Gavin Dance), Taka Moriuchi (One Ok Rock), Caleb Shomo (Beartooth) and Tyler Carter (Issues), then building an empire of promotion around it.

So Don Broco drop a new single “ACTION” with other scene favorites featured along with a cheesy 90’s video framed as an action figure infomercial gone horribly wrong. The song fits the video perfectly as each character is played as an action figure with real-life “powers” that are out for blood, based around the action story of Rob Damiani’s “Rob-Bot”.

Now, fans are demanding the action figures are created for sale and there’s no doubt it will most likely happen. Did we mention this is Don Broco’s FIRST headlining U.S. tour, and almost half of the dates have sold out? The band and their team have done such a great job of using current pop-culture trends inspired by the 90’s to craft visuals and music based on memorabilia that the band will, in turn, be able to profit even further from. Genius.
