Amythyst Kiah shares electric new version of “Black Myself”

Tennessee-based Amythyst Kiah released a new version on her song “Black Myself.”

The song was nominated for the 2020 Grammy Award for Best American Roots Song, when Kiah recorded it with women-of-color supergroup Our Native Daughters. The new version turns the folk-americana song into more of an alternative-americana song.
