Brooke Candy has just dropped her explosive new single “FMU” with an accompanying video sure to get you fired up for more. The new track from the rising pop/rap star features an impressive verse from fellow rapper Rico Nasty for an electric combination of powerful sparking energy. The song itself wastes no time introducing you to Brooke Candy’s explicit world, complete with evocative vocals and hard hitting beats. It’s also a largely a a showcasing of female empowerment and dominance, which goes hand-in-hand with the visuals.

Directed by Brooke Candy herself, the video for “FMU” features an all-female motorcycle crew shot in the woods of Bend, Oregon. Candy had this to say about the video and song’s theming:

“Showcasing women at their most powerful, especially doing something that’s typically so male-dominated, has always been important to me in my art. To have Rico on this track really took it to the edge of what I’ve always wanted to create. She’s a mother, a badass, and is carving her own path. I got to see so much beauty in all these renegade women through these collaborations – Mother Earth included. I hope it inspires others to submerge themselves in something greater.”

The new track comes just days before the release of Brooke Candy’s debut studio album Sexorcism. The new LP features a high-octane display of Candy’s cutting talent and commitment to a style. Throughout its 12 tracks, she’ll be joined by a host of stellar features from the likes of the aforementioned Rico Nasty as well as Charli XCX, Erika Jayne, Maliibu Miitch, Violet Chachki, Aquaria, TOOPOOR and more.

Check out the video for “FMU” below. Beyond that you’ll find the stream for Sexorcism, which will be available in all its unfiltered glory tomorrow.
