Christian Lopez has dropped his anthemic new single “Sick of Me.”
Born and raised in West Virginia, the 24-year-old LA transplant put out his first musical releases at just 18, 19, and 20 years old. Now, after taking a three-year hiatus, Lopez is back with a new batch of music. “Sick of Me” marks his fourth single of 2020, following tracks “Sip of Mine,” “Who You Really Are,” and “Finish What You Started.”
So what inspired “Sick of Me”?
“I would play shows and wonder why these people actually weren’t sick of me? A natural thought I guess, but it even ended up stemming into my relationships. The truth was, I didn’t want to be alone, and that old identity needed to fade in order to bring this new one to life. That one could survive, the one I am today.”
The music video, directed by Nicholas Jandora, was shot in the Mojave Desert in El Mirage, CA.
