Northlane have released a new song “Enemy Of The Night.”

The song comes ahead of the Australian metal band’s deluxe edition of their 2019 album Alien. As a 2xLP vinyl release, the deluxe version will include the new song and instrumentals from the original album. On how “Enemy Of The Night” came to be lead singer Marcus Bridge said:

“‘Enemy of the Night’ was the last song to be completed and is personally my favorite song from the Alien sessions. It has a similar storytelling style to [the song] ‘Freefall,’ as it recounts memories and experiences from my childhood of my father falling deeper into addiction and the desperate things people will do to satisfy those needs. Despite his best efforts, he was never able to beat his demons. This song is the missing piece to the Alien puzzle and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”

The deluxe edition comes off the heels of the band’s third ARIA Award and the release of a short film titled Negative Energy about the recording and release of Alien.

Alien Deluxe comes out July 31 and is available for pre-order now.
