Folk rock star Phoebe Bridgers dropped a new EP of re-recorded tracks from her sophomore album Punisher. The Copycat Killer EP appraises four Punisher singles: “Kyoto,” “Savior Complex,” Chinese Satellite,” and “Punisher.” These four tracks are backed by Bridgers’ collaborator, Rob Moose’s violin and cello instrumentals, metamorphosing the original songs into ethereal drops of harmonious heaven.

Bridgers’ highlight single from the EP, “Kyoto” is a jarringly lonely rendition that Moose told the LA-based singer should be played at her funeral.
