S. Carey is gearing up to release his third studio album, titled Hundred Acres, on February 23. The announcement came last year alongside the lead single “Fools Gold,” and now S. Carey is finally following that up with another new song, “More I See.”
S. Carey has been a member of Justin Vernon’s band Bon Iver, but since 2010 he’s been making solo music. The albums have been pretty spread out, the last one being 2014’s Range Of Light. If the new songs are any indication, Hundred Acres looks to continue in the dreamy folk rock stylings of past S. Carey albums. Considering his membership in Bon Iver, it will also likely please fans of Vernon’s work. In fact, most of it was recorded at Vernon’s studio.
