Black Pistol Fire bring a captivating sound to the stage this summer

Alternative rock powerhouse duo Black Pistol Fire are excited to be hitting the road this summer for a handful of headline dates as well as a July 30th Lollapalooza play.

The band known for their explosive performances is looking forward to bringing their new album Look Alive to the stage and showcasing their expansive new sound.

The 11-track record, which features lead title single “Look Alive”, brings deep tones that match their explosive energy. A multitude of tracks contain wavering directions of sound that entrance listeners along with a modern-vintage-meets-punk visuals seen on the album cover. Look Alive was released on January 29, 2021 via Black Pistol Fire’s new label Black Hill Records – album available HERE.

The band’s Kevin McKeown (guitar/lead vocals) and Eric Owen (drums/bass synth) co-produced the album with GRAMMY Award-winning producer and engineer Jacob Sciba (Gary Clark JrGov’t MuleWarren Haynes) and enlisted the help of six-time GRAMMY Award-winning producer, engineer and mixer Vance Powell (White StripesRaconteursChris Stapleton) to mix the ten tracks. It’s no wonder Black Pistol Fire’s recent record immediately strikes like a White Stripes inspired match.

While the band enjoyed their time in the studio making Look Alive, they are really looking forward to touring.

“I love making music, but playing live, there’s nothing like it,” Owen says. “Every time we hit the stage, no matter if it’s a sold-out show or not, we remember why we started doing this,” McKeown adds. “And our live show is where we cut our teeth and where we honed our craft,” he continues. “It’s a rollercoaster ride, and the stage is where we come alive.”
