Alternative-indie band Calva Louise just recently shared their new track “Tiranito” off their newly announced album EUPHORIC, to be released August 20th on FRKST/300 Entertainment.

The anticipated track gives listeners a different and hypnotic vibe, highlighting the band’s multicultural identity and giving a sneak peek at what to expect in the upcoming album. As seen in previous albums, vocalist and lead guitarist Jess Allanic highlights the Spanish vocals, with a little English woven into the chorus. Allanic states “the song touches upon the tyrants that we encounter in our day to day life, but it’s really about recognizing ‘the real tyrant’ that is inside each of us”. The band also released the video for “Tiranito, directed by Jack Howard, enforcing the hypnotic vibe provided from the song.

The UK-based group’s upcoming album EUPHORIC tells a story about the duality of the human being and about the different perceptions of reality. The lyrics detail episodes of the dreamer’s experiences as an inner conversation with his other self, the counterpart of the human being, that seeks to experience freedom and have an encounter with the unknown. To further dive into the story found on the album, the band will release an animated movie and a comic book, all created, produced and directed by frontwoman Jess Allanic (Mescalitas).
