Cosha teams up with Shygirl on “Lapdance from Asia”

Irish singer and producer, Cosha, shared the single “Lapdance from Asia late last week. In a divine pairing, Shygirl lends her voice to the release for an understated addition to both artists’ genre bending blends of electronic, pop, and dance music. “Lapdance from Asia”’s ethereal beat is also the product of a combined effort by Mura Masa, Cosha, and Brett Shaw.

This is the third single, following Fall 2020’s “Berlin Air” and “No Kink in the Wire,” to come after Cosha’s stage name swapping EP, R.I.P. Bonzai. Along with Shygirl’s late 2020 ALIAS, the pair continue to produce a sexy, cool girl sound that gets better with each release.

Along with the single, Cosha shared a fever dream-y music video directed by Gilbert Bannerman.
