Cursive announce new tour with Cloud Nothings, The Appleseed Cast

Last fall, the long-running indie rock/art punk band Cursive dropped their eighth studio album Vitriola. Before that, the band hadn’t released anything in six years! And lucky for Cursive fans they finally did for it’s easily the band’s best album since their classic early-mid 2000s LPs. Needless to say, it’s real nice to have Cursive back, and it’s doubly nice that their return feels completely earned and wholly satisfying,

Since the album’s release, the band have been keen to keep celebrate it with large strings of new tours and dates. They just wrapped up a co-heading tour with mewithoutYou in May, and already they’ve made plans to keep the live shows coming. Aside from returning for a short list of dates in September, and an opening spot for Against Me! in October, Cursive have just announced yet another tour. This time around, the band will be supported by the great Cloud Nothings (whose most recent LP also came out last fall), as well as The Appleseed Cast (whose big return album just dropped two weeks ago). The dates run throughout much of November, and just might be Cursive’s last batch of dates for a while. So, see them while you can!

Check out the November tour dates below. Head here for ticketing info, as well as the full list of Cursive’s upcoming dates.
