How long have you been a resident of the Charlotte area? If not originally from here where did you come from?

I’m actually from Monroe NC which is 20min down Highway 74 but I be in Charlotte almost more than I be at home. I love the city.

What are some of your favorite hidden gems around the Charlotte area?

I’m a very nerdy adult so I like The Harvey B. Gantt Center and The Discovery Place. I really love the parks they are building, i’m a very content person.

What got you into Music? and what keeps you wanting to do it?

My family. My Grandmother, Mom, Aunts, and Uncle all play an instrument. Piano, saxophone, bass guitar, and trumpet. I play trombone, little piano, and drums. So much music was around me, I naturally picked up to it, it became part of my life at that moment and I haven’t looked back since.

What are some of your other hobbies besides music?

Right now i’m learning plumbing, i’m into carpenter too but I’ve been a day trader for 6 years now from stocks to options.

What is your go to karaoke song?

The last time I did karaoke I was very drunk and forgot the whole song but it would probably be Deftones- hole in the earth (Rock music was my first love before Rap/ Hip-hop).

Who are some of your influences? Music or otherwise?

I love 80’s 90’s rock and 90’s-2006 Hip-hop, I thought was the greatest era of music released. I’m a big jay-z fan, I used to hustle when I was just turning 18 and Reasonable doubt album kept my head straight. Fabolous for punchlines and Young jeezy for the Hustler motivation. I really like a lot of local artist though, I buy and collect local artist Cd’s/ albums/ Mix tapes. They speak of where i’m from and live, they rep the NC sound.

Which Spice Girl is your favorite?

Scary spice first then all of them.

“My goal was to figure out how to make my passion my career. Once I did, it was like freedom. Find your true passion, it’s already in you and it’s worth it.”

What is one of your favorite songs you have written and why?

Just a Human Being, I was going through something at that time, Summer Vacation I wrote while on a beach trip, 100 is probably in my opinion the best lyrics I’ve released but I got this song called Bi-polar (Coming Soon) that is going to showcase my songwriting skills. Also, can’t forget the joint i’m releasing next with Trey Songz on it which will probably be my hottest record thus far.

What was the first concert you attended?

A rap contest talent show with my cousins when I was 15 which really made me want to rap I can’t explain what it did to me but that inspired me.
