English electronic producer, Iglooghost (born Seamus Malliagh) debuted the single “Sylph Fossil. Balancing dark orchestral elements and weighty production, Iglooghost crafts a song that is eerie and experimental. “Sylph Fossil” is the second song the producer has explored the influence of Lei music, a secretive, ceremonial sub-genre that originates from Malliagh’s hometown of Dorset. Along with the first single, “Eœ (Disk•Initiate), shared a documentary about Lei music.

Along with “Sylph Fossil,” Iglooghost shared that their second album Lei Line Eon is due out on April 2nd this spring. Via twitter, they described the album as a “a muted yellow, hyper slow-motion. squelching/morphing/howling study of ceremonial laptop music.” The album will also include features from frequent collaborators, LOLA and BABii. Both singles we’ve heard begin to deliver on that description, and give much to be anticipated with this forthcoming release.
