South London singer-songwriter, Tirzah returns with the single “Send Me.” Reflecting on a year of playing live music and motherhood, the song packs a meditative, emotional punch through its lyrics and minimal production. With a simple combination of looped guitar and drums that make up the majority of the backing, the song’s final moments break into a hazy, distorted howl.
“Send Me” is Tirzah’s first solo work since her 2018 debut studio release, Devotion. Working with Mica Levi and Coby Sey, who also lent a hand in the production of “Send Me,” Devotion’s loose and experimental sound made Tirzah an act to watch.
The artwork and visuals for the single were designed by Leah Walker.
