Local Natives share extended demo of “Colombia” to celebrate 5th anniversary of ‘Hummingbird’

Local Natives released what has easily become their best album, Hummingbird back in January 2013. So, now that we’ve hit the five-year mark on such a great album, the band have opted to give the fans some goodies related to that album.

First up, Local Natives have just shared an 8-minute long demo version of the penultimate track from the LP, “Colombia” which you should listen to right here. Additionally, the band has compiled a handful of great photographs from the recording session of Hummingbird here. And that’s not all! They’ve also shared a few clips, plus a longer video, of some behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the album. Check them out right down below.

In case you haven’t heard Hummingbird, or you’ve forgotten how good it is, give it a stream right here. The band also released a new album, Sunlit Youth, back in 2016. It’s a departure in sound from their other albums, but still worth giving a listen, which you can do here.
