Happy Friday! This week is a glob of new singles to match the summer  Here are our picks for this week’s Nü Music Friday:

IDK + Young Thug – “Pradada Bang”

IDK released the laid-back diss called “Pradada Bang”, which is on his upcoming album USEE4YOURSELF. The track serves as a reminder not to fall for someone who’s constantly after your money.

 

Iggy Azalea – “I Am The Strip Club”

Iggy Azalea returns with the single “I Am The Strip Club”, a club-ready hit for the end of the summer!

Dynoro – “Monsters”

Lithuanian DJ/producer Dynoro dropped an EDM banger and music video, “Monsters”, this week. Dynoro snagged a feature with 24KGoldn to spread an uplifting message about fighting your demons so you can grow into something greater.

godz – “kids”

The new, mysterious and indie-pop group gods released the music video for “kids” this week. The song uses some light guitar and a smooth chorus to tackle some hard subjects, which is what the youthful band is all about. godz describes their song as “settling down after years of promiscuity and feeling resentful because the best pieces of you have already been given away.”

Oscar Lang – “21st Century Hobby”

Up-and-comer Oscar Lang released the music video for “21st Century Hobby” this week. The single gained traction after making Spotify’s All-New Indie and Apple Music’s New Music Daily playlists. “21st Century Hobby” is off Lang’s upcoming album Chew The Scenery, which releases on August 13th. “21st Century Hobby” plays with and raises more concerns over social media’s large influence on its captors. Lang explains:

“there was one point where I was spending 13 hours a week on social media, which equated to about a month every year. That was a really dark time for me- I always thought that it would never affect me, but it took some time to realize that it was subconsciously affecting my mental health.”
