Spice Girls – Wannabe 25

Tiiva’s newest single “Bones” is a euphoric, electronica hit! The new London-based artist explains her song:
“Bones is about the fragility of how we see ourselves, the perception of what is beautiful. Society tells us we have to be a certain shape, look a certain way, a mirror that is held up where no one easily matches to those expectations…. to just be ourselves in a world that is constantly pressuring can be the most radical act of self-love.”
IDK – USEE4URSELF
After several singles and hints, IDK dropped his latest album, USEE4URSELF. With features from Rico Nasty, Young Thug, Offset, the late DMX and MF DOOM and more, the album is a great example of his pace in this rap generation.
In addition to his musicianship, IDK has made a great standing in communities across the nation. He’s teamed up with No Label and Harvard University’s law professor Brian K. Price to create No Label Academy: a 10-day music program that he will be instructing on Harvard Campus August 21-31st. IDK says “I decided to create this program for the purpose of letting people in the BIPOC community know that a job in the arts is a lot more realistic than what society makes it seem these days.”
He also hosted the KKIDD Family Reunion this week which was a cookout for local youth to broaden their worldview and continue their passions. Proceeds from this event will go to his former high school, DuVal High. “The way that we build our legacies, the way that we build our communities, that knowledge is important to pass on”.
Snoh Aalegra – Temporary Highs In The Violet Skies

Born in Sweden and rooted in Los Angeles (and musically trained by Prince), Snoh Aalegra’s third studio album is a sultry retro reminder of some of the greats like Whitney Houston and Sade.
Nicki Minaj – “Whole Lotta Money” remix
Queen Nicki surprised the Barbs this week with a remix of BIA’s “Whole Lotta Money”. This remix will boost the Boston-native BIA (and will feed any Nicki stans’ hunger for a while).
