Lil Nas X – Montero

Lil Nas X released his debut album Montero today! The Georgia rapper, whose infamous for pushing the music industry with  “Call Me By Your Name” and “Old Town Road”, lets go of all limits on Montero.

In an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Lil Nas X says :

“ I know what I want. I know where I want to be in life. And I know that’s going to tak me being more open and brnging it out of myself no matter how much it hurts or feels uncomfortable to say things that I need to say”.

Featuring Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus, Megan Thee Stallion and Elton John, Lil Nas X shows no bounds to genre boundaries, keeping his diverstiy number one throughout the album.

Bad Bad Hats – Walkman

This week, the indie rock band Bad Bad Hats released thier third album Walkman. The trio from Minnesota included their previous LPs. Walkman spins indie, garage-band and midwest rock together to bring some tasteful new songs to your latest playlist.

The National Parks – “UFO”

Following the release of two new songs, The National Parks releases their third single of 2021: “UFO”. The song swells with guitar strums and drums, filling out like an emotional bonfire. All three songs will be on their upcoming album Mid For The End Of The World – Part 1.

Kehlani – “Altar”

The R&B/pop artist Kehlani released a glowing single this week, “Altar”. The song is an ode to her loved ones that have passed, and she puts them on the “Altar” in this heartfelt song. “Altar” will be on their upcoming album Blue Water Road, release date TBA.

Lindsey Buckingham – Lindsey Buckingham

The former member of Fleetwood Mac and ex-lover to Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, released his solo album this Friday.The 71 still shows animosity towards Nicks, and lets some of those feelings go throughout the album. All instruments in the album were played by Buckinham himself, and the album is surprisingly speedy. As for his resentments, it wouldn’t be a Fleetwood Mac (inspired) album without some toxicity.
