Chicago based producer and musician oddCouple returns with “Reflections,” a testament to power of self acceptance. Featuring long-time collaborator and Milwaukee based singer and poet, Jamila Woods, the pair brings a lush combination of production and vocals. The single and video for “Reflections” also come with the announcement of an album from oddCouple of the same title, Reflections, due this spring.
oddCouple spoke on collaborating with Jamila Woods on “Reflections:”
From the lyrics to the visuals, “Reflections” serves as both a personal thesis statement, and a return to the forefront for me. It’s only right that after working on this record for years, and growing so much as a person, that I’m able to create this with my most trusted collaborator, Jamila.
oddCouple executive produced Jamila Woods’ lauded 2016 debut, HEAVN. Reflections, his sophomore release, also follows oddCouple’s 2017 debut, Liberation.
Along with the single, the pair teamed up with New Trash Crew for a spacey and mesmerizing video.
