Alternative Brooklyn band Palehound has released a new single “How Long.” The single is the band’s first release since their 2020 single “Southern Belle.” The band’s last album was 2019’s Black Friday
Palehound is led by singer-songwriter Ellen Kempner.
In a tweet, Palehound had this to say of “How Long”:
“new song today about tiny moments of sweetness within this pandemic and how much they can hurt. inspired by a day when I met some friends at a swimming hole that was infested with water snakes. then a hail storm came from outta nowhere and it was so biblical and on the nose.”
