Paramore drop new video for “Caught In The Middle”

Since the release of last year’s really great After Laughter, Paramore have made it a point to remain on your mind. Since then, they’ve dropped several pretty great videos for album tracks, announced new tour dates, played an excellent Tiny Desk Concert, and more. Needless to say, they’ve remained steadfastly focused on keeping the buzz going for that LP. And rightfully so considering it not only marked the anticipated return of the band, but also saw them side-stepping to a totally new, fun direction. Now to once again remind you of how consistent After Laughter was, the band have shared yet a another new video.

“Caught In The Middle” is the fifth single to be released from the album. It’s a deep album-cut brimming with personality (like much of the album). The primary focus on the track is the repetitive guitar line, which builds up to a chorus that takes bouncy turn. But as with many of the tracks, the underlying lyrical ideas are pretty heavy. The video on the other hand, turns up kitschiness, much like last single “Rose Colored Boy.” We get a lot of 80’s-90’s-inspired graphics and an overall fuzziness in look. Check it out down below.

Paramore are currently on tour again! Check out all their dates and ticket info right here. They also recently announced a Nashville-centric show titled Paramore -Art & Friends. For more info on that head here.
