We all need a soundtrack for our morning coffee and stretch, where our eyes finally flutter open and we yank open the curtains to the days sunshine. Cue Philadelphia five-piece Brightbill skipping in with their airy guitar and happy horns on latest music video for track “Chemistry”. See the music video, exclusively here on Nu Sound, above!
Guitar-driven, with the addition of horns to accent the music and lyrics, Brightbill explores the concept of the human condition. Brightbill’s music is best described as drawing from two main influences: modern alternative bands like Young The Giant, The 1975, and Kings of Leon, as well as established jam bands like Phish and Dave Matthews Band. The band released its first EP in June of 2018 Messages from Letters Left Unsent, and plans to release two more EPs over the next year.
Brightbill on single and music video “Chemistry”:
“We’re super stoked to share our debut music video for the song ‘Chemistry’. This track is about talking to yourself as if you were another person…and taking action against someone you used to be! We hope you dig the energy, the hook, and of course the sax solo!”
