Speak Low If You Speak Love have premiered a new track from their forthcoming sophomore album !
According to Ryan Scott Graham, the new track “Safety Net” is multidimensional. “”Safety Net” is kind of like an Eddie Murphy movie, where I try to play every character involved and switch perspectives throughout,” said Graham. “The song is a snapshot of a small moment that I knew could make a significant mark on my life if I chose to pay attention to it. Musically we took a lot of chances too, with the electronic drum feel and the haunting piano, but I think it turned out really special. My friend Hannah Dob even came in and gave a really beautiful vocal performance on the bridge. Really proud of this one.”
Listen to it now via AltPress.
Nearsighted will be released January 19th via Pure Noise Records.
