Wilco are starting their own radio station (for the weekend)

Wilco are always dipping into music news here and there on a pretty consistent basis. Most recently, they released two deluxe reissues of their first two albums, A.M. and Being There. And now they’re back to announce a new, interesting idea.

Sent to fan newsletter recipients, Wilco have announced that they will be broadcasting their very own radio station dubbed Wilcoworld Radio. The radio program will run for 10+ hours starting at 10:00 a.m. today and will host a wide range of archival material and new interviews. The band haven’t officially stated exactly everything that will be contained in the broadcast, but what we can expect are outtakes, live recordings, cover songs, and interviews. There will also be some people sharing their stories and reactions to the band, most likely around the time that they released A.M. and Being There.

So, get ready for hours and hours of Wilco. Head right here to listen to the broadcast, which again starts at 10:00 a.m. today. But, in case you miss the 10+ hour show, they’ll be looping the broadcast through Sunday at 10:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Pick up the deluxe editions of A.M. and Being There here.
