Rising new rap artist Zack Cokas released a new video for his track “Y&R”. Taken from his project, WARHOL, “Y&R” holds a nostalgic feel and relates to his unique taste and inspirations. Hailing from North Carolina, Cokas uses this track to reflect on the transition to “adulthood” and challenges faced to find oneself. The chorus references the skate brand (Y&R) made popular by Drama of Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory. Finding inspiration and passion through art, Cokas started releasing music on SoundCloud around 2018, he has since gained momentum and continues to push boundaries with his unique combinations of old and newer hip hop artists.
